Terms of service

1. Who we are
SearchDossier (searchdossier.com) is run by Himanish Ganguly, a sole proprietor based in India (“we”). Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as our merchant of record and is the seller on your receipt.
2. The service
We make SEO research reports (such as keyword reports and competitor snapshots) and deliver them by email and on your account page, where each report can be downloaded as a PDF file. Reports combine data from a licensed SEO data provider, calculations made by our software, and analysis written with the help of AI.
3. Your account
You first sign in with a link sent to your email, and can then set a password. Keep your email and password secure; anything done after signing in with them is treated as done by you. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract.
4. Credits
- A credit is a report unit. One credit buys one report unless the price page says otherwise.
- Credits are not money. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and can only be used for reports on this site.
- Credits do not expire.
- Credit prices for new report types may change. Credits you already hold never lose value.
- If a report fails, the credit is returned to your balance automatically.
5. Free first report
One free report is offered per company email domain, for accounts with a work email, while daily limits allow. The free report shows part of the recommendations, which can be unlocked with one credit. We may refuse or withdraw free reports that are abused.
6. Prices, payment and refunds
Prices are shown on the pricing page in US dollars. Taxes are handled by Dodo Payments at checkout. Unused credits can be refunded within 14 days of purchase as set out in the refund policy.
7. Acceptable use
- Do not request reports on adult content, gambling, weapons or illegal drugs. Such requests are refused.
- Do not try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or resell bulk access to it.
- You may use and share the reports you buy, including with your clients.
8. Estimates, not guarantees
Search volume, traffic and similar figures are estimates and will differ from other tools and from search engines’ own data. Recommendations are suggestions. We do not promise any ranking, traffic or business result. See our methodology.
9. Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
10. Ending the service
You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. If we close the service, we will refund unused credits from purchases made in the previous 14 days and give notice by email.
11. Changes and law
We may update these terms; we will show the new date here and email you about important changes. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
